2025年5月20日(火)、「インターナショナルワインチャレンジ（IWC）2025」のSAKE部門の審査結果が発表され、スパークリング部門で「賀茂鶴 スパークリング日本酒 光壽」が金賞を受賞しました。
また、純米大吟醸部門で「純米大吟醸 広島錦」が銅賞を受賞しました。
IWCは1984年に設立された世界最大規模のワイン品評会で、毎年ロンドンで行われます。
SAKE部門が創設されたのは2007年。
日本酒の審査会としての認知度は高く、受賞酒は国内外で注目されます。
「スパークリング日本酒 光壽」は昨年から今年にかけて国内外のコンテストで6つの金賞を受賞しました。
今回の受賞を励みにさらなる品質向上に努めてまいります。

International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2025 – SAKE Division
“Sparkling Sake KOJU” Wins Gold Medal

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the results of the SAKE division at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2025 were announced. In the sparkling sake category, Kamotsuru Sparkling Sake KOJU received the prestigious Gold Medal.
In addition, Junmai Daiginjo Hiroshima-nishiki was awarded the Bronze Medal in the Junmai Daiginjo category.
Established in 1984, the IWC is one of the world’s largest and most influential wine competitions, held annually in London. The SAKE division was introduced in 2007 and has since gained a strong reputation as an authoritative international sake competition. Award-winning sake brands receive widespread recognition both in Japan and overseas.
Sparkling Sake KOJU has received six Gold Medals in both domestic and international competitions from last year through this year.
Encouraged by this latest honor, we will continue striving for even higher quality and excellence.
