The International Wine Challenge (IWC), established in 1984, is one of the world’s largest wine competitions and is held annually in London.

The SAKE category was introduced in 2007 and is widely recognized as one of the largest and most influential sake competitions held outside Japan.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the SAKE category, and the judging was held in Higashihiroshima, a city renowned for its sake brewing culture.

As the competition was hosted in Japan, a record-breaking 1,738 sake labels were reportedly entered this year.

Although we unfortunately did not receive a Gold Medal this year, the results reminded us once again of both the challenge and the significance of earning high recognition at a world-class competition.

Encouraged by this achievement, we will continue to dedicate ourselves to sake brewing and strive for even higher honors in the coming year.
